Returns & Refund Policy

Free US Shipping on All Orders — no minimum, no return shipping deduction on most refunds.

Noctis Tint stands behind every kit we ship. If something is not right, we want to make it right. This policy explains exactly when and how you can return a Noctis Tint product, what is and is not refundable, and how to start a return.

1. The 30-Day Return Window

You may return any unopened, unused tint kit in its original packaging within 30 days of delivery for a full refund of the product price. The 30-day clock starts on the date the carrier marks your package as delivered.

2. What Qualifies for a Full Refund

To qualify for a full product refund, the returned item must meet ALL of the following:

  • Returned within 30 days of delivery
  • In its original, unopened packaging with all seals intact
  • The film backer, plastic wrap, and any included documentation must be untouched
  • Free of damage, scratches, or wear
  • Accompanied by your original order number

3. What Is Not Returnable

The following items are not eligible for return or refund under any circumstances:

  • Opened or partially used tint film. Once the protective wrap or film backer has been removed, the product cannot be returned.
  • Custom-cut film orders. Films cut to specific dimensions for your vehicle are made-to-order and non-returnable.
  • Tint film that has been installed on a vehicle. Once film is applied to glass, it cannot be removed and resold. Installed film is covered exclusively under our Lifetime Warranty Policy if the warranty add-on was purchased.
  • The Lifetime Warranty Protection add-on. The $5 add-on is non-refundable once purchased. It begins providing coverage immediately and does not expire.
  • Sale, clearance, or final-sale items. Any item marked as final sale at the time of purchase.
  • Gift cards.

4. Defective Film (Pre-Installation)

If you receive film that is defective from the manufacturer before installation — for example adhesive failure, color flaws, peeling backer, tearing, or visible damage when you open the package — you are entitled to a free replacement, regardless of the 30-day window.

  1. Contact us within 7 days of delivery at warranty@noctistint.com
  2. Include your order number and clear photographs of the defect
  3. We will email you a prepaid return label and ship a replacement at no charge

5. Damage in Transit

If your package arrives visibly damaged, photograph the package and contents before opening fully and contact us within 48 hours of delivery at warranty@noctistint.com. We will work with the carrier to file a damage claim and replace any damaged film at no charge.

6. How to Start a Return

The fastest way is to submit your request through the Return Request Portal. You will need:

  • Your original order number
  • The email address used at checkout
  • Photos of the unopened item (including the seal/wrap)
  • The reason for your return

Within 2 business days of submission, we will email you a Return Authorization (RA) number and return shipping instructions. Do not ship returns without an RA number — unauthorized returns may not be processed and may not qualify for a refund.

7. Return Shipping

The customer is responsible for return shipping costs in most cases. We strongly recommend using a tracked and insured shipping method — we cannot be responsible for returns lost in transit.

Exceptions where we cover return shipping:

  • Defective film (see Section 4)
  • Damage in transit (see Section 5)
  • We shipped you the wrong item
  • We made an error on your order (e.g., wrong color, wrong size)

8. Refund Processing

Once we receive and inspect your return, we will issue your refund within 3-5 business days.

  • Refunds are issued to the original payment method only
  • Allow an additional 3-10 business days for the refund to appear on your statement, depending on your bank or card issuer
  • US orders: Outbound shipping was free, so the full product price is refunded
  • International orders: Original outbound shipping costs (if any were charged) are non-refundable
  • You will receive an email confirmation when your refund is processed

9. Order Cancellations

You may cancel an order for a full refund as long as it has not yet been shipped. Email warranty@noctistint.com with your order number as soon as possible. Once an order has shipped, the standard 30-day return process applies.

10. Exchanges

We do not process direct exchanges — the workflow is to return your unused item for a refund and place a new order for the color you want. This keeps the process fast for you and avoids confusion about pricing or availability.

11. Color and Appearance Disclaimer

Tint films can look noticeably different in person versus in product photography because of monitor calibration, ambient lighting, and the specific glass and paint colors they are applied to. Color or appearance differences are not grounds for return after installation. We strongly recommend reading the full product description and reviewing all photos before ordering.

12. Lifetime Warranty on Installed Film

If you purchased the optional $5 Lifetime Warranty Protection add-on at checkout, manufacturer defects that appear after installation (bubbling, peeling, delamination, color shift, demetallization) are covered for as long as you own your vehicle.

13. International Returns

International returns follow the same 30-day window and condition requirements above. International customers are responsible for return shipping, customs duties, and any associated fees. Refunds are issued in US Dollars to the original payment method.

14. Refused Packages and Returned-to-Sender

If you refuse delivery of a shipped order or your package is returned to us as undeliverable, we will refund the product price minus any return shipping fees charged to us by the carrier. (Free US outbound shipping does not generate a deduction; international outbound shipping, if charged, is non-refundable.)
