Have these ready

Spray bottle with tint-safe slip solution, lint-free microfiber towels, window-tint squeegee or hard card, sharp tint knife, heat gun, and a clean work area out of direct sun and wind.

  1. Prep the vehicle and film

    Work in a clean, well-lit area. Confirm which film goes on each window and read any product-specific instructions before removing the liner.

  2. Clean the glass thoroughly

    Remove dirt, dust, grease, and old adhesive. Pay close attention to the window edges and seals. Small debris can create visible bumps.

  3. Size and shape the film

    Use the outside of the glass as your work surface. Rough-cut the film with extra room, then carefully shape it to the window. Curved glass may require controlled heat shrinking.

  4. Wet the glass and adhesive

    Spray the inside of the window generously. Peel away the clear liner and spray the exposed adhesive so the film can slide into position.

  5. Apply and align

    Place the adhesive side against the inside of the glass. Keep the film wet while you align the edges and final position.

  6. Squeegee from the center out

    Push the slip solution and air toward the nearest edge using firm, overlapping strokes. Wrap your tool in a clean microfiber when working on the finished surface.

  7. Finish the edges and let it cure

    Make the final trim, squeegee the edges again, and leave the windows up while the film dries. A light haze or tiny moisture pockets can be normal during curing.

First time installing tint? Start with a smaller side window. Rear windshields and deeply curved glass are more advanced, so those are often worth leaving to a professional.

  3. Order and bring it in. Take the Noctis film to the appointment in its original packaging.
